Meniscal injuries are a common cause of knee pain and often an indication for arthroscopy, the most orthopedic surgical procedure in United States. In-office needle arthroscopy (IONA) is described technique with ability to diagnose treat meniscal office. IONA allows diagnosis treatment at significantly deceased cost, both quicker patient recovery, improved satisfaction. The purpose this technical report describe performing in-office knee, including obtaining adequate local anesthesia, proper indications, visualization, advantages these procedures office rather than operating room.
